Group Payments Operations and Clearing unit is responsible for administrating the Group payment hub infrastructure in terms of systems, processes and people to execute the clearing & settlement of payments, by providing the national and international reach to Erste Group Members, Savings Banks and Foreign Subsidiaries. The unit manages the network relationship with Clearing Houses and external providers and is responsible to steer all payments and settlement operations in the Erste Group. The Unit develops Group Payments Strategy in cooperation with business stakeholders, compliance and IT. Represents Erste Group in national and international bodies and participates in industry working groups.
Dein Profil
- University degree in Economics/Finance/Technology or Science
- Minimum three years of professional experience in SEPA payments related services related
- Previous experience in Product Management, Banking Operations or FinTechs/management consultancy with strong exposure to technology and digitalization
- At least 3 years of experience with strategic projects, preferably in multi-cultural environment
- Payments product and process specific knowledge
- Project management skills
- Customer oriented and high communication skills
- Fluent in English and German
Deine Aufgaben
- Take leadership in terms of setting vision, strategy, targets and priorities towards the self-organizing scrum/agile team and additional stakeholders’ experts
- Support business units in defining change requests, communicate and align with all affected stakeholders
- Responsible for vision and target setting of the solutions towards line- and senior management e.g. prepare material for and present to the projects approval bodies incl. definition of clear KPIs and benefits from the solution
- Maintain close cooperation relationship with business stakeholders and in particularly product management to create and implement new products and services
- Conduct Proof-of-Technologies (PoTs) and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) to estimate business impact of new payments products and technologies
- Drive and support the development of long-term Operations strategy and provide actively views for the area of responsibility on technology, market & infrastructure trends and best practices.
- Involve Group Members or other entities during respective operations platform regular alignment meetings
- Act as a key expert in big (regulatory or market required) projects to provide solutions for the functional area you are responsible for.
- Act as a business analyst for E2E processes and is able to define Target Operation Models
